Welcome to Project 52 – the photo challenge for the lazy(ish?) person with commitment issues. Instead of taking daily pictures, like with Project 365, I take them weekly, because I’m somewhat shiftless, and I can’t even commit to full personal hygiene every single day, much less to getting out my camera 365 times a year.

When it comes to photography I really don’t know what in the hell I’m doing. I purchased a high-quality point and shoot Canon over a year ago and have never taken it off auto. I decided to change that. My husband said that if I stayed serious with this and became good at it, he would buy me a digital SLR at the end of the year. I think this disproves the whole “marry for love, not money” adage.
